The southpaw youngster, at 13y and 187d has surpassed Bangladesh’s Najmul Shanto, who had scored a fifty at 14y 231d vs Sri Lanka in 2013.
The next on the list is Hasan Raza from Pakistan, who had recorded a fifty plus score vs England in 1996. Meanwhile, Vaibhav’s score of 81 from 47 deliveries on Monday came for India U-19, who are playing a Test against Australia A at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, in Chennai.
