لم يقم Yashasvi Jaiswal بجولة في أستراليا من قبل وسيلعب أول ظهور له في Border Gavaskar بدءًا من 22 نوفمبر
Yashasvi Jaiswal has been a revelation for the India Cricket Team ever since his debut last year. Following this he has performed exceptionally well. While the young southpaw is touring Australia for the first time in his career, Ravi Shastri believes that he will become a better batter after the conclusion of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
Yashasvi Jaiswal’s debut Test series came at West Indies, following which he toured South Africa towards the end of 2023. And now he will be touring his second SENA country. While playing in overseas conditions is different and difficult, Ravi Shastri claims that if he can pass on the early phase then he can score runs freely.

Yashasvi Jaiswal is World Class
Former India Cricket Team head coach Ravi Shastri claimed that despite being at such a young age, Yashasvi Jaiswal is already world class. The young opener has showcased his class and has already sealed the opening position. “I think he’ll be a better player when he leaves Australian shores. Already, he’s world-class,” Ravi Shastri said at the Fox Cricket/Kayo Summer of Cricket Launch.
Shastri revealed that Jaiswal performed well against England earlier this year and has the hunger and passion to go for more. And this will work wonders for him in the IND vs AUS Test series. “You saw what he did against England—just the freedom with which he plays. He’s come up the hard way, so you can see that hunger and passion, not just in his eyes but in the way he fields and stays involved in the game.”
However, Shastri claimed it would be difficult in Australia. Given the pacey and bouncy nature of the pitches, Yashasvi will be facing such adverse conditions for the very first time in his career. And thus once he settles down to these adversities, he can continue to flourish.
“If he can see that phase through, he will love these pitches. He scores freely and has the temperament to thrive in tough conditions,” Shastri concluded.
