The 35-year-old spinner reached this achievement by dismissing Khaled Ahmed in his 10th over of the first innings.
Jadeja becomes the seventh Indian to bag 300 Test wickets
The all-rounder from Saurashtra also becomes the seventh Indian cricketer to bag 300 wickets in Test cricket. Now, he has an impressive record of 300 wickets at an average of 23.98 and a strike rate of 58.10. In addition to his bowling talent, Jadeja has made significant contributions with the bat, scoring 3,122 Test runs at an average of 36.72, which includes four centuries and 21 half-centuries.
Fourth fastest to reach 300 wickets
Among Indian bowlers, Jadeja ranks as the fourth fastest to reach the 300-wicket milestone, trailing only R. Ashwin (54 matches), Anil Kumble (66 matches), and Harbhajan Singh (72 matches).
