Will Shakib al Hasan play IND vs BAN 2nd Test?
As per The Daily Star, selector Hannan Sarkar said that the team will not take a hasty call on Shakib al Hasan’s inclusion for the 2nd Test. He admitted that there were discussions around the pain in his right finger but said that he was cleared 100% before the 1st Test. Shakib had to be given treatment on the field after he was hit by Jasprit Bumrah’s delivery. Additionally, Sarkar revealed that Shakib started to experience the pain after he began bowling.
“We are heading to Kanpur tomorrow and today is a day off. We will have two sessions afterwards and we will judge after that. We don’t want to make a decision yet. These two days, the physio has kept him under observation. When we get back to the ground, we will get the physio’s feedback,” Hanan Sarkar said.

“I liked his batting. In his batting approach, compared to others and compared to how Shakib has batted before, he appeared very confident. He played with ease and handled the pressure. Yes, he didn’t score big but he is always important to the balance of the side,” he added.
