Richard Kettleborough and Chris Gaffney have been named as the on-field umpires for IND vs AUS 1st Test in Perth. The five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy series will commence on November 22 which will determine India’s chances of making it to the World Test Championship (WTC) final for the third consecutive time. Unfortunately, India will have to bear with the ‘Kettleborough’ jinx in their very first game of the tournament.

It is to be noted that Richard Kettleborough has been present in almost every significant match that India has lost in the past, including ICC knockout matches. The 1st Test in Perth will be crucial for India as they will be eyeing to get off to a winning start.
