Team India stars hit the Gym

Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel were spotted hitting the gym early with 2 days remaining before the start of the 2nd Test match of the India vs New Zealand series. Axar Patel is a part of the India squad but didn’t feature in the previous match. On the other hand, there were doubts regarding the availability of Rishabh Pant after he suffered a knee injury.

But with the keeper batter hitting the gym it is evident that he is fit and is raring to take the field for the next game. Latest reports claim that Rishabh Pant is fit and has no problem featuring in the next game for the hosts.

Pant hammered a brilliant knock in the second innings where he missed the coveted 3-digit score by a solitary run. However, Pant didn’t keep wickets after he was hit on his right knee. In his place, it was Dhruv Jurel who slotted in behind the stumps.

As things stand, the Indian players are ready and gearing up to face the Kiwis again. The team looks determined to toil hard in the gym to be at their best fitness before taking on the Black Caps again in Pune.
