The BCCI has unveiled the final list of 574 players for the IPL 2025 Mega Auction, scheduled to take place in Jeddah on November 24-25. The IPL serves as a platform where former international players can showcase their remaining cricketing skills. Ahead of the auction, let’s take a look at the oldest players who have registered for the event.

A total of 574 players will feature in the IPL 2025 auction, including 366 Indians, 208 overseas players, and three from associate nations. With 204 slots available, 70 are reserved for overseas players.

James Anderson has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction, setting his base price at Rs. 1.25 crore. The veteran England pacer has retired from international cricket and is unlikely to be picked by any team in the upcoming IPL season.

Jamie Overton

Another English pacer Jamie Overton will be aucttioned in the IPL 2025. He has set his base price Rs. 1.5 crore. Overton eight international match for England and took at wicket of seven wickets.

Faf du Plessis

Faf du Plessis is a strong contender to be picked by franchises, having proven his worth in the previous IPL season. Despite turning 40, the veteran remains a valuable player, and there’s a good chance he will attract interest in the auction.
